Shari Consulting LLC. is seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of Quality Assurance Analyst based in Orlando, FL.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze software quality related issues and develop plan to improve the quality and reduce defects.
- Create test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures according to system specifications.
- Develop test schedules, review resource allocation and time.
- Conduct software test automation for various software applications.
- Examine and execute code in various environments. Review test cases and test scripts.
- Document test summaries and software defects, and report defects to software development teams.
- Create meaningful error handling procedures for application code.
- Write SQL queries to extract backend data.
- Collaborate with software development teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects and issues.
- Coordinate end to end validation with various backend teams.
Qualifications and Competencies
- This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field plus two (2) years of experience in a related occupation.
- Or Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in a related occupation.
- Position also requires experience with Jira, Cojira, ClearQuest, Waterfall and Agile methodology, and Quality Centre.
- Position requires 50% of national travel.
